At the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schonbrunn, guests will experience the full atmosphere of imperial Vienna. The hotel is housed in a carefully restored former residence for official guests of Emperor Franz Joseph. Previously, there was a snack bar, opened in 1787. Subsequently, in 1823, Ferdinand Dommeier bought it and rebuilt it into a small hotel. Many works by Johann Strauss, father and son, as well as their contemporary Joseph Lanner, were first performed here. Then in 1907-1908. It was on this site that the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schonbrunn was built according to the plan of the architect Arnold Heimann. Already then, along with 70 rooms for accommodation and restaurants, the hotel had a ballroom and a Vienna cafe.
